Do you make Custom Dresses?
Absolutely! With my extensive design background, I would love to bring your dream dress to life. To ensure every detail is perfect, the custom design process must begin at least six months in advance. I’m committed to transparency regarding material costs and other expenses, but please keep in mind that a custom gown is a one-of-a-kind creation, not a mass-produced piece. For this reason, custom dresses often cost more than those bought off the rack. Please reach out to me before booking online so we can discuss your vision!
Do you give estimates over the phone?
Since every dress is unique and tailored specifically to you, quotes are provided during the complimentary fitting consultation. To give an accurate estimate, I need to assess details such as skirt layers, construction, fabric, and trims. My pricing is competitive, based on thorough research of local rates, ensuring you receive expert craftsmanship at a fair value.
Do you do Alterations for Bridesmaids dresses?
Yes! I also offer alterations for the mother of the bride/groom, as well as all types of evening dresses. Whether it's a formal gown or a special occasion dress, I ensure the perfect fit for every client.
What can I expect at my appointment?
At your first fitting, we’ll review the fit of your dress and discuss the alterations you’d like. You’ll receive a pricing sheet outlining the agreed-upon charges. If we decide to move forward, your dress will be pinned and kept in the studio for alterations. Before you leave, we’ll schedule your second fitting.
At your second fitting, we’ll assess the adjustments made to your gown. If further alterations are needed, they will be pinned, and a third appointment will be scheduled. Otherwise, your dress will be ready for you to take home!
